Application FAQ
When’s my application due?
Applications were due at midnight on March 17th, 2013.
When will we know if you’re interested?
On April 9th, we’ll invite 40 startups to participate in a round of phone or in-person interviews from April 15th – April 24th.
Yes, but when will we know if we got in?
On May 2nd, we’ll invite 20 semi-finalists for final interviews at Rock Health HQ on May 15th and 16th. Finalists will be notified by May 17th and the program commences on June 10th.
Is my application private?
Your application is private by default, and here’s how to ensure your profile is too: AngelList will require you to “Publish” your profile prior to Rock Health application submission; however, you can make your profile private and set so only Rock Health can view it—when AngelList says “Your Profile Will Be Public”, click “Edit”, choose the Private option and select “All” under the “Hide this profile from these investors” field.
What if I have more of an idea than a company?
No problem. If you don’t have a company name, call yourself NewCo or something else clever. Use a picture of you or your cat for the logo. Just let us know somewhere in your profile.
What parts of our AngelList profile are most important?
Applicants should try to be as detailed and thorough as possible in all of the sections of both the company and founder profiles. Your story, tech, traction and deck are really helpful. We also love videos. Make sure the founder profiles include where they went to school and where they have worked previously. If you have raised money prior to Rock Health, let us know the total amount.
Can I update my application?
You can update your application until March 17th, via AngelList.
Can you help us get ready for the start of the program?
After you’re accepted, we’ll help you get setup—incorporation paperwork for those of you not yet inc’d and temporary digs in San Francisco for those of you who aren’t already a part of the local community.
