Rock Health Angels Goes To Los Angeles, Leslie Saxon Speaking
Rock Health is bringing its angel investor training for healthcare professionals, Rock Health Angels, to Los Angeles for a special one-day workshop on June 15. Sponsored by the California HealthCare Foundation, Fenwick & West, and the Keck School of Medicine of USC, this intimate workshop will be held at the brand new Keck Medical Center of USC Beverly Hills office.
We are thrilled to announce our exceptional speaker lineup, including digital health visionary Leslie Saxon, Chief of Cardiology at USC and director of the USC Center for Body Computing, Ash Fontana of AngelList, and Michael Esquivel, partner at Fenwick & West. Rock Health founded Rock Health Angels to provide a platform for doctors and other healthcare professionals interested in learning more about strategic angel investing.
Attendees will learn about digital health market trends, angel investing mechanics, deal structure, valuation, due diligence, and company sourcing from noted healthcare experts, technologists, and investors. At this time, this workshop is only open to accredited investors.

Dr. Leslie Saxon, Chief of Cardiovascular Medicine, USC Keck School of Medicine
Leslie Saxon, M.D., is a Professor of clinical medicine at the USC Keck School of Medicine, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmias in patients with congestive heart failure. After serving as the director of the electrophysiology laboratory and implantable device services at UC San Francisco, Dr. Saxon was recruited to serve as the Chief of Cardiovascular Medicine at USC. Ash Fontana, Venture Hacker at AngelList
Ash leads Invest Online, new products, and deal flow curation at AngelList. AngelList is the world’s largest startup investing and recruiting platform with $13M of fundraising and 3K recruiting matches made per month between hundreds of thousands of users. Ash studied Finance and got his J.D. at the University of Sydney and Cornell. Previously Ash worked as an equities analyst in investment banking and in private equity for Macquarie Capital in New York.
