Leah Sparks is a Rock Health Board Member and the CEO & Founder of Wildflower Health. Leah has nearly 20 years experience building innovative healthcare businesses in both venture-backed companies and Fortune 50 corporations. Leah founded Wildflower Health in 2012 while starting a family of her own and seeing firsthand the gaps in healthcare for families and the significant opportunity to move the needle on outcomes and medical costs across family health. Under Leah’s leadership, Wildflower has grown to a company of 100 FTEs delivering digital-enabled care for women and families nationwide, working with health plans covering 50M lives and nearly 150 hospitals.
Prior to starting Wildflower Health, Leah led business development for a personalized medicine startup that was acquired by Medco a few years after she joined the company. She began her career in healthcare at McKesson Corporation in corporate development, where she focused on strategy and M&A. During her tenure at McKesson, she held a variety of leadership roles including spearheading the company’s entry into the oncology market.
Leah has been featured as a speaker at leading events including the National Quality Forum, Health 2.0, and the Rock Health Summit.
Won the 3rd grade talent show with a rendition of a "My Fair Lady" showtune, which she routinely re-enacts at home to the horror of her two sons
Had failed entrepreneurial attempts in both fashion and wine importing before realizing her true calling was healthcare
Believes roasting a chicken is one of life’s greatest pleasures
