RedBrick Health Raises $14M To Keep Employees Healthy

According to SEC filings, RedBrick Health, a healthcare technology company based in Minneapolis, has raised roughly $14M in its latest round. Founded in 2006, RedBrick sells a consumer engagement and behavior change platform to employers to engage and incentivize consumers to stay healthy.  Their customers include Sara Lee and Cargill.

With this latest round, RedBrick has raised nearly $40M since 2009. Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Highland Capital Partners, Versant Ventures, and Fidelity Ventures (now Volition Partners) led RedBrick’s $15M Series C round in 2009. RedBrick subsequently raised another $15M in 2011.

The Twin Cities’ digital health cohort is growing—RedBrick can count Bloom Health (started by one of RedBrick’s co-founders and majority controlled by three Blues Cross Blue Shield health plans), ABILITY Network, Revation Systems, clear.md, and Zipnosis among other health tech startups in the Minneapolis area.
