Rock Health Demo Day: Fourth Class of Startups Make Their Debut

Wednesday, February 20th marked Rock Health’s fourth Demo Day, hosted again by our friends at UCSF.  The room was packed with 300 mentors, alumni, investors, and press — and the graduating startups killed it.

Our fourth class of startups exemplifies the ongoing transformation of our healthcare system through the use of technology. The 14 digital health startups are working across the industry—with hospitals, payors, and directly with consumers to make meaningful change in an industry that is ripe for innovation. Healthcare is one of the last sectors in our economy to undergo a technology-based transformation and Demo Day was a showcase of this shift.

Graduating startups include:

Beam Technologies makes the Beam Brush, a connected toothbrush to improve oral health.
Benefitter
helps employers confidently navigate health care reform, save money, and improve their employees’ well-being.
CliniCast
unlocks the potential of health data to maximize outcomes and minimize costs.
Eligible

Kit Check
reduces the time it takes hospitals to process medication kits from 20 minutes to 20 seconds, prevents medical errors, and could save hospitals over $2 billion annually.

Mango Health
makes fun and elegant mobile applications that inspire consumers to improve their health.
Moxe Health

Wellframe
combines mobile technology and artificial intelligence to extend the provision of care from the hospital to the home.

Wildflower Health
