Mind the (care) gap: LGBTQ+ digital health solutions

Did you know that more LGBTQ+ adults delayed or avoided medical care (53%) during the pandemic compared to non-LGBTQ+-identifying adults (41%)? While digital health alone can’t solve this care gap, it can help support more inclusive healthcare experiences. We’re excited to see the LGBTQ+ digital health market emerge—2020 saw the first venture funding ($9.6M) invested in startups specializing in LGBTQ+ health, and H1 2021 has followed with $39M.
