Carmen works closely with RockHealth.org’s senior team members to steward impactful partnerships, lead emerging initiatives, and shape internal culture. In her previous role as a strategy consultant at Deloitte Consulting LLP, a management consulting firm, Carmen shaped the narrative around health equity as a business imperative and solved problems for life sciences and healthcare organizations. Carmen also has experience in health journalism. Her work has been published in over 30 outlets, including The Atlantic, NPR, and The Washington Post. Carmen holds a B.A. in Journalism from Indiana University-Bloomington and an M.P.H. from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
