Emily believes in the power of patients and data to achieve greater health outcomes.
Org Info: Attane Health is a digital health company focused on providing under-served patients and Medicaid members with the high-quality food, nutrition support and health coaching they need to help manage their chronic health conditions, improve health outcomes and lower the cost of care.
What motivated you to pursue your current work?
My work is rooted in lived experience. I know how challenging it can be to manage chronic conditions with limited resources and the “right” foods are just out of reach. A former Medicaid beneficiary from Kansas, I’ve navigated our safety net and came up empty. I’m humbled everyday to be part of the solution to ensure no other families have to experience the challenges.
What distinct value does your work bring to the digital health field?
Attane believes in providing a personalized and patient centered approach to food and nutrition care.
How does your work impact your target end-users or stakeholders?
Attane is focused on the Medicaid population. Our programs are curated to provide access to nutrient dense foods, education and support. Our work will empower members to manage their chronic conditions through nutrition.
What is one exciting update or near-term opportunity that you would like to share with the digital health community?
Attane is excited to join the Coding4Food project as a subject matter expert in Medically Tailored Grocery. We will support the development of HCPCs codes for billing and documentation.
