What motivated you to pursue your current work?
As a kid from India, I saw firsthand what extreme disparities does to a community and always thought I would be a clinician. Later I found bits and bytes, and realized that I could help scale access to high quality care through technology.
What distinct value does your work bring to the digital health field?
Our community health platform provides all the engagement, coordination, and virtual care to reduce total cost of care for high-needs patients in underserved communities. Through our data and risk analytics, we are building a data set for the most effective interventions across clinical, behavioral, and social health.
How does your work impact your target end-users or stakeholders?
We find, engage, and care for high needs, low income communities by wrapping around our safety net primary care system. By connecting shelters, food, pantries, and other community organizations to primary care, we help drastically increase the access points for care within a community.
What is one exciting update or near-term opportunity that you would like to share with the digital health community?
We are excited to continue scaling our solution across the California market by building an integrated network of safety net primary care clinics and community based organizations.
