As Managing Director and Chief Strategy Officer, Riaz leads commercial strategy and growth for Rock Health Advisory, helping the practice deepen its impact with the organizations navigating the future of healthcare—across health plans, health systems, life sciences companies, and the broader digital health ecosystem.
Riaz brings nearly 25 years of experience bridging healthcare policy and commercial growth. Prior to joining Rock Health, he served as Chief Experience Officer at Wider Circle, an investor-backed company building peer-to-peer communities for Medicare and Medicaid members, recognized as one of Inc. 5000’s fastest-growing private companies in both 2024 and 2025. Before that, Riaz co-founded Ask Claire, an investor-backed company built to transform the Medicare navigation experience, which he led from inception through a strategic acquisition by Wider Circle. Earlier, he served as Chief Marketing Officer at SCAN Health Plan, one of the nation’s largest not-for-profit Medicare Advantage plans. His career also includes nearly a decade in health policy and strategy at Avalere Health in Washington, D.C., where he advised the nation’s leading pharmaceutical companies, health plans, and health systems.
Riaz received a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy and earned his undergraduate degree from Columbia University.
