“If you’re interested in digital health, entrepreneurship, or just want to experience working with really great people, there’s no better place than Rock Health! I enjoyed my internship so much that I went back for another the following summer, and I can’t imagine spending those summers learning anywhere else. From the Rock Health team to the mentors to the entrepreneurs, it was truly an honor to be surrounded by such a passionate and hardworking group.”

“My summer at Rock Health gave me a tremendous level of exposure to digital health innovators. I loved being able to meet people from so many different corners of the landscape: entrepreneurs in consumer and enterprise, hardware and software; investors; established companies working at large scale; policy change-makers. Getting that breadth of perspective was truly unique. I learned an incredible amount in a short time about digital health technologies, business models, and go-to-market strategies. It was super exciting as well to experience the inner workings of a startup accelerator right along with the entrepreneurs! My mentors were attentive to my interests and proactively helped me identify projects related to my goals, and they gave me plenty of opportunity to take initiative in driving my project forward. Work aside, Rock Health was also a ton of fun — from karaoke to hikes to cocktail making contests to simply great conversations with my desk neighbors, I had a blast getting to know and learning from everyone. Most of all, Rock Health was an inspiring place to be. The ingenuity, energy, and drive that surrounded me made me feel more hopeful and excited about healthcare than I’d been in years. It’s an amazing environment for anyone who’s looking not only for knowledge but inspiration!”

“The Rock Health internship was a blast. If you’re thinking about pursuing this: DO IT! I came from a healthcare strategy consulting background; it was rewarding to help the portfolio companies think about go-to-market strategies, customer segmentation, and business models and see them enact changes in days and weeks rather than quarters and years. Witnessing innovation happen in real-time revealed the true challenges (and joys) of launching and leading a business.

Working alongside the entrepreneurs in the Rock Health family was a fun and enriching experience, and I further enjoyed fantastic Rock Health events and conferences, and assisted in research for a Rock Report. My experience at Rock Health not only helped crystallize a personal career goal, but also equipped me with skills and connections to make it happen.”

“Rock Health opened my eyes to a world of innovation in healthcare I could not have imagined existed. While most people who walk through the doors do have a special interest in digital health, I would highly recommend the fellowship program to anyone interested in medicine or the business of healthcare at large. Immersed in a sea of entrepreneurs, technologists, investors, and more, my eight months at the organization exposed me to thinkers and ideas that have profoundly impacted the way I understand healthcare’s main challenges and the opportunity for technology to drive meaningful change.

As a communications fellow turned full-time Research Associate, I had the opportunity to apply these learnings to exciting projects across the organization, including The Future of Biosensing Wearables Rock Report and the 4th Annual Health Innovation Summit. The ideas Rock Health supports are shaping the transitions healthcare will surely undergo in our lifetime, and the opportunity to have been at the forefront of it all already feels invaluable to my career. Thank you Rock Health!”
