Leigh Kinney
Research Fellow
Leigh works as a fellow on the Rock Health Research Team. She is currently pursuing her MD at Brown and plans to spend her career at the intersection of clinical medicine and digital health, helping the two industries align around their mutual goal of improving patient care and health outcomes. Leigh completed her undergraduate degree at Stanford and has since been a teacher, researcher, and contributor to health tech startups in diverse areas: virtual healthcare, diagnostics, medical device innovation, and, most recently, COVID-19 testing. She has a keen interest in oncology and social medicine.
Can often be found covered in mud in her ceramics studio, especially in the wee hours of the morning
Used to play snare on her college drumline, à la Nick Cannon
Is learning to kite board (although is still a frequent face-planter!)
