Integration station
HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) events often focus on integration and interoperability—and last week’s HIMSS25 headlines saw tech players rush to integrate AI features and strengthen their value propositions to provider customers. Microsoft fired up its Dragon Copilot engine with combined dictation, ambient listening, and generative AI capabilities and embedded real-time UpToDate content via a partnership with Wolters Kluwer Health. Epic announced it’s working on agentic AI features that support clinical tasks beyond the EHR. Zoom launched beta versions of its Workplace for Clinicians and Custom AI Companion for Healthcare, with AI features built off its partnership with Suki. Salesforce rounded out the convoy with Agentforce for Health, a suite of pre-built AI agents to streamline tasks from benefits verification to care coordination. Moves like these underscore continued momentum for provider AI tools beyond scribes—laying the tracks for robust clinical AI solution suites of the future.
