The meetings are wrapped and the booths are broken down—another HLTH has come and gone. As always, the Las Vegas of it all offered a plethora of panels, expos, competitions, meetings, happy hours, celebrity sightings, and no shortage of noteworthy news. There were partnership announcements aplenty, in addition to newly introduced frameworks and certifications to improve regulation and validation of new technologies. Generative AI and GLP-1s again dominated conversations, with this year’s discussions more grounded as stakeholders shared practical ways for these innovations to be responsibly integrated into care delivery. Women’s health, climate health, and emerging areas like oral health took the main stage (not to mention food as medicine with a stand of its own). It was also great to see lots of clinical representation including the dedicated Nurses@HLTH track. Whether you spent your time avidly networking with partners and clients, hoofing it around the exhibit floor, or chatting with investors in the interest of “gettin’ paper” like event musical guest Busta Rhymes, one truth remains every year—gathering with the people that make up the healthcare innovation community is always time well spent!

Rock Health and the American Academy of Family Physicians have partnered to launch the Advancing AI and Digital Health for Primary Care Initiative, which will explore how technology can effectively improve primary care. If you’re a primary care physician, please participate in the Use of Digital Health and AI in Primary Care survey by November 4 to provide your input and help shape the future of primary care!
