Kunal Patel
Research Fellow
Kunal is a research fellow at Rock Health. He received a Masters in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University and is currently in a gap year before beginning medical school. Kunal is passionate about the uses of digital health in providing aid to those in developing countries, as well as aiding those in the disability community. He is an avid supporter of and volunteer in the disability community through educating community members to creating greater accessibility and accommodations. Prior to his graduate studies, he graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a degree in Neurobiology and Physiology.
As a leap year baby, has celebrated on his actual birthday only six times so far
Supports all DC and Maryland sports teams—except for in football, he's a Denver Broncos fan
Is an avid volleyball player, so will most likely complain about knee pain before most people older than him
