Julia Klein
Research Fellow
Julia supports the research team as a fellow at Rock Health. Julia graduated with her MD from Weill Cornell Medicine in May 2022 and will be pursuing her residency training in anesthesiology at UCLA. Prior to Rock Health, Julia spent several years working in academic research at Columbia University and Cornell University where she has received an NIH grant and has published over a dozen journal articles, book chapters, or presentations on her research interests in neuroscience and women’s health. Prior to healthcare, Julia worked in the music industry on the data analytics team at Jukely, a music technology startup, and as a sound engineer for boutique sound design agencies. She graduated summa cum laude from Cornell University’s College Scholars Program where she designed her own major focusing on the intersection of music, psychology, and technology. Julia is passionate about pursuing a hybrid career in medicine spanning clinical practice and non-clinical work in the healthcare technology space. She enjoys researching emerging trends in digital health and learning about the non-clinical aspects of the healthcare industry as a Rock Health fellow.
