Company: Omada Health
Position: Software Engineer
Location: San Francisco
We’re looking for an awesome software engineer to be our first hire.
Our company sits at the juncture of health care and Web 2.0, an area that is beginning to catch the attention of Silicon Valley VCs and the health industry at large. We’re helping the 80 million people in the US with prediabetes avoid progressing to full-blown type 2 diabetes, and we’re in a unique position to rapidly bring our product to patients. We are also members of Rock Health, the first seed accelerator for health startups, and we were recently selected as a Clinton Global Initiative Commitment.
Given our exciting progress, we’re looking for the right talent to help us grow. First and foremost, we want an exceptional developer to join our ranks, who cares about improving human health through technology and who will work directly with our technical co-founder to build our product. We want to keep the team small and nimble, so basically you’d have a hand in everything from front-end (HTML, JQuery, AJAX) to middleware (Ruby on Rails) to backend/infrastructure (AWS, Rackspace, Heroku) and maybe even some data mining.
Past experience is important, but we’re not looking for any specific skills. We want someone with a good sense of humor who adapts extremely quickly to new platforms and technologies, and who’s up for taking on a variety of roles as we build our company together.
Aggressive perks including top-of-the-line computer hardware, full health benefits, flexible vacation, and more.
