Each year fifty of the leading entrepreneurs, investors, technologists, reporters, and providers dedicated to bringing technological advancements to healthcare are recognized at the Top 50 in Digital Health dinner hosted by Rock Health, Fenwick and West, and Goldman Sachs. Within the Top 50, a number of individuals and organizations are awarded for their distinct contributions to particular focus areas through nominations from the digital health community.
Three quarters into 2015, venture investments have outpaced 2014’s three quarter total with funding reaching $3.3B, representing 30% TTM growth. Digital health M&A activity has heated up and with 22% of the US population expected to be 65+ by 2040, there’s been strong investor interest in services and technologies that are designed for seniors.
It’s been a momentous month for Rock Health. From celebrating our 5 Year Anniversary, to hosting over 700 attendees at Rock Health Summit, today we’re thrilled to cap it off by announcing a partnership with CVS Health.
Remember the HIV outbreak in Indiana? It roiled Scott County, IN, the outbreak’s epicenter, where my father has practiced medicine for nearly 25 years. The outbreak threw this rural area into disarray, but the strong family dynamics in Scott County allowed residents to cope with this jarring event.
